I was expecting a lot better based on how it was presented. The meal ended up tasting bland and was kind of cold when I got it. The portions were smaller than I thought they’d be too, so overall it just didn’t feel worth what I paid

I booked a dinner through Eatwith and made it really clear ahead of time that I don’t eat gluten. The host replied with “no problem,” so I figured everything was sorted, no big deal.
But when I showed up, a lot of the food still had bread or pasta in it, and the host seemed a bit surprised when I brought it up again, which was awkward. I ended up mostly having salad and a small side dish while everyone else got the full meal.

The guests were friendly and the space was cozy, so it wasn’t a terrible night or anything, but for the price, I expected more care around dietary requests. I’m not sure I’d book again

Support did help me get rebooked, so that part was good. Overall I still like using it, I just wish the cancellation stuff didn’t feel so messy when it happens.
